1. Who we are

These terms govern the pre-purchase car inspection service provided by UsedCarCheck ("we", "us"), operating in Budapest, contactable at info@usedcarcheck.hu. By booking an inspection you agree to these terms.

2. The service

We carry out an independent, on-site inspection of a used vehicle you intend to buy. The inspection covers bodywork and paint, structure, the engine or battery and drivetrain, electronic diagnostics, suspension, steering and brakes, the interior and electronics, and a short road test where it is safe and permitted.

We offer two packages. The Standard On-Site Inspection (35,999 Ft) is carried out with you present and includes a printed report handed over on site. The Digital Inspection Package (39,999 Ft) is carried out on your behalf when you cannot attend, with the report, photographs and video delivered by email. The inspection scope is identical in both.

3. What the inspection is — and is not

Our report is a professional opinion based on a visual, mechanical and electronic assessment at a single point in time. It is not a guarantee or warranty of the vehicle's future condition, and it cannot detect faults that are not present or apparent at the time of inspection, including intermittent faults and concealed defects that leave no detectable trace.

The decision to buy, negotiate or walk away remains entirely yours. We do not act as a party to the sale and we are not an agent of the seller or the buyer beyond providing the inspection.

4. Booking, timing and cancellation

Appointments are arranged subject to the location being within our service area and the vehicle and seller being available. We aim to attend promptly, often within a day or two, but timing depends on access to the vehicle and cannot be guaranteed as an absolute. Please give us as much notice as possible to cancel or reschedule.

5. Fees and payment

Fees are as published at the time of booking: 35,999 Ft for the Standard and 39,999 Ft for the Digital. Travel within Budapest is included. Any additional arrangements will be agreed with you in advance.

6. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from an inspection is limited to the fee paid for that inspection. We are not liable for the seller's conduct, for faults outside the scope of the inspection, or for decisions you make based on the report. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Hungary. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
